I graduated in 1996 with a class
of about 300. I miss my high school and high school friends very much.
I think I was very school spirited...an inside friend told me I lost the
"most spirited" election by just a hair (beaten out by the head cheerleader)!
This
is a picture of my four closest high school friends (left to right, Amy,
Me, Regina, Robin, and Megan) and I when we were all about 16, at the Corvette
Diner in San Diego, a theme diner from the 50s. This was a
tradition with me and my friends...every time anyone we are friends with
has a sixteenth birthday we dress up in 50s clothes and take them to the
Corvette Diner and out in public all dressed up :) We always found
a way to make fools of ourselves :)
These
are a few of my high school friends...my eleventh grade year (I only know
that because of the yearbooks!) Left to right me, Amy, Tom, Greg,
and Scott. I miss these guys a lot :(
After our prom when I was in eleventh grade, we all took
a road trip up to Magic Mountain for two days, where we took this picture.
We thought this was especially cute because Amy and I had just written
a story about our group of friends, set in the civil war era...so this
was perfect for the story. I think I own the only existing copy of
this picture...so guys, if you want one, let me know!!! Across the
top is Greg, Scott, Tom, and Eric...then Me and Amy(the lady in red!)...then
Megan at the bottom.
Our
favorite Halloween costumes were these Wizard of Oz ones that we made for
our senior year...and won the costume contest with :) Robin was the
Lion, I (in my wigand sequined shoes) was Dorothy, Amy was the Tinman,
Regina was the Good Witch, and Megan, who didnt make it to this picture,
was the Scarecrow. That was the best halloween ever:)
After Prom our senior year the girls decided to go "rough
it" at a KOA campground in LA while we spent the weekend at Knott's Berry
Farm. This is a picture of all five of us...one of my favorite pictures
of all of us. Senior year was the best time of my high school life.
Although this is sort of a dark picture, I love it...it
is the night of an awards ceremony just before we graduated...I believe
it is one of the few pictures of all of us in our caps and gowns...and
as usual, Amy (far left) has racked up all the awards :)
