It started by using a grant from USDA, with the assistance of the UC Davis Center on Cooperatives, UC Fresno Extension, and Agland Services, HAC was able to establish the Cooperative in 1997. And now it is functioning, quitted successfully the coop has provided. The coop is now retaining 70 members actively.
